Tour of the Lake Soprano

Path absolutely flat. Ideal for families and for those who want to enjoy a bike ride in absolute relaxation. Along the banks of the lake "Sopranos" scenarios will admire very interesting botanical and wildlife and you will live outskirts of the town of Serradifalco with its farms. A special note goes to the passage in front of the home of the writer "A.Camilleri." Path: road, flat, no trouble, does not require any athletic training.

Stage 1:
Sheltered from the town of Serradifalco, Lake Soprano is included in the group of the seven nature reserves in the province of Caltanissetta. He has great landscape value: looks like a jewel set in a barren and dry land on which stands Serradifalco. The lake, also known as "Cuba" for its resemblance to scenarios with Caribbean landscapes, is a karst cave produced by the action of water on limestone, filled with water from the springs and rain. It has a varied fauna of water and volatile, even migratory, many species of amphibians and reptiles, the terrapin, a small freshwater turtle, is surely one of the most beautiful specimens.

Stage 2: Camilleri's House - Serradifalco (CL)
During discharge shall of Americans on the southern coast of the island, Camilleri and his family took refuge in Serradifalco, to escape the bombing of Porto Empedocles.
